PSI/STI/ASO

This is a composite test for the three police department positions. Primarily, it consists of Assistant Section Officers (ASO), State Tax Inspectors (STI), and Police Sub Inspectors (PSI). It is governed by the State Public Service Commission. This test is frequently referred to as the Mpsc Subordinate Services(Combined) Joint Pre-Examination. Its purpose is to find applicants for the Maharastra government’s openings for Assistant Section Officer, State Tax Inspector, and Police Sub-Inspector.                                                                                                There is a comparable three-stage format for all three exams: preliminary, main exam, and interview. Those who pass the preliminary exam can proceed to the main exam. Interviews are the last round. Those who pass each of the three rounds are chosen for the corresponding roles.         

Exam Structure for PSI STI ASO

1] There is only one preliminary question paper in the exam.
2] There are two Mains papers in the exam.
3] All the papers are objective-based in this exam.
4] The Preliminary exam is for 100 marks.
5] The Mains consist of 2 papers for 200 marks.
6] There is also Physical Test and Interview for the PSI.  

PSI ( Police Sub Inspector)

The PSI test is administered by the Mpsc to select applicants for the Maharastra Police Department’s post of Police Sub Inspector. There are objective-based questions in the test. Through General Knowledge, Reasoning, Language, and Numerical Ability, it evaluates the candidate’s knowledge.

STI (State Tax Inspector)

The Maharastra Finance Department administers the Sti exam to select applicants for the position of State Tax Inspector. In Maharastra, this is a Group B position. They are in charge of a number of tasks, including finding financial records and accounting. There are multiple-choice questions on this exam. The format of this exam typically follows the same format as the Psi.

ASI (Assistant Section Officer)

In Maharashtra, this test is being held for the position of Assistant Section Officer. Making routine reports, writing them, and providing daily support to the Ifs officials is their primary task. This test is likewise focused on objectives. This job is classified as a Group B position inside the organization.
